* Empower people with mental health challenges to achieve independence and community participation.
* Deliver hands-on, practical support and recovery planning in a field-based, outreach role (80% in the community).
* Collaborate with families, clinicians, and community partners to deliver holistic, person-centred care.

As a Rehabilitation and Recovery Worker, you’ll walk alongside participants, helping them identify their hopes and goals, develop recovery plans, and build the skills and confidence needed for a fulfilling life.

This role will involve:
* Provide support to participants, helping them regain, keep, and improve daily living skills, self-management, and independence.
* Collaborate with families, carers, clinicians, and community partners to deliver holistic, recovery-oriented support.
* Develop and implement individual recovery plans, facilitate access to services (including NDIS), and advocate for participant rights and inclusion.
* Engage in outreach (80% field-based), supporting participants in real-world settings to achieve their goals and participate in community life.
* Maintain accurate records, contribute to continuous improvement, and actively participate in team development and service innovation.
They are looking for candidates with:
* Certificate IV (or higher) in Mental Health, Community Services, or related field (or working towards).
* Understanding of recovery-oriented mental health practice and ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Experience working in mental health, suicide prevention, or community services.
* Understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of a mental health issue.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You” Certificate (willingness to obtain)
Additional Information (if required):
* Current NDIS worker Screening check & WWCC (or the ability to obtain)
* Willingness to travel across the region and work primarily in the field.
* Candidates with lived experience are encouraged to express interest in the role.

This is a full-time permanent role, and is offering SCHADS Level 3 plus super. This role can be based in Cooma (Southern NSW) with travel across the region. You will join a supportive, values-driven team that celebrates diversity, lived experience, and collaboration.
