We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team in Pakenham. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting site operations through effective coordination of production, inventory management, and administrative functions. You will contribute to achieving site production targets by ensuring efficient manufacturing of finished goods to specification, on time and in full, while supporting a high-performing and reliable production team.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
Safety
* Ensure all activities are conducted safely and comply with current WHS legislation and company policies
* Identify and report hazards, supporting a proactive safety culture
* Support training, supervision, and use of appropriate PPE across the site
Production & Technical Support
* Support achievement of production targets, ensuring finished goods meet quality and specification requirements
* Assist in monitoring and improving plant performance, including downtime, throughput and efficiency (OEE & TPH)
* Contribute to DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) performance
* Assist in investigating customer complaints and identifying root causes
* Support HACCP, FeedSafe, and Quality Management System compliance
* Maintain and support SOPs, work instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Assist in maintaining plant cleanliness and inspection standards
Administration & Inventory
* Manage goods receipting, stock transfers, and inventory reconciliations
* Monitor raw material stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities
* Analyse slow-moving or expiring inventory and report accordingly
* Coordinate raw material transport and supplier bookings
* Maintain data integrity across systems and reporting platforms
* Process non-stock accounts payable and support financial administration
* Maintain site documentation, Training records, SharePoint records, and archiving systems
* Support site administration controls, including external storage locations and PPE supplies
Key skills and experience required:
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS 365 systems
* Understanding of inventory processes and general accounting functions
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with all levels of the business
* Understanding of production processes and site operations
Desirable
* Experience in FMCG or stockfeed manufacturing environments
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
* Exposure to production or mill operations
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous office administration and/or feedmill operations experience
* Understanding of company policies and procedures relating to administration
