We’re currently seeking dedicated, caring Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
🌟 About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide essential care and assistance tailored to each participant’s needs, including:
- Personal care and medication support
- Meal preparation and help with household tasks
- Community access – supporting social activities, appointments, and outings
- Following individual support plans to promote independence
- Accurately recording daily activities and ensuring duty of care
- This role is located and based in ALBANY WA 6330 - This is not a remote role!
🙌 What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities this includes children - this is a must
- A willingness to work and show up with a positive, can-do attitude. We’re looking for someone with the flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a caring, respectful nature
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Not afraid of Technology - Comfortable using a mobile app to input detailed, above-standard participant notes in line with company policies.
- Physically fit to assist with mobility and manual handling tasks
- A proactive and empathetic attitude. A desire to learn, be trained, and grow in an exciting and energetic industry is a must - Want to learn, we want you!
- RELIABLE; Be the teammate everyone can count on — reliability is the backbone of our success; this is the main ingredient of our team!
✅ Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- Manual Handling and hoisting experience
- Current First Aid & CPR or willingness to obtain (Required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Required)
- Driver’s licence (Required)
- Availability to work across a 24/7 roster, including overnights (sleepovers) and weekends
- WWCC or willing to obtain (Required)
- A willingness to work with individuals of all ages, including children, is a must for this role
