Opening Team Role
About the Role
This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and loves building culture from the ground up.
You will lead daily front of house operations while overseeing coffee standards, workflow, team performance and overall store organisation.
You will set the tone for this new bakery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
* Lead and inspire the front of house team
* Create a positive, respectful and high-performance culture
* Train and mentor baristas and service staff
* Manage staff rosters and daily delegation
* Maintain strong communication between kitchen and service
Operations
* Oversee daily opening and closing procedures
* Ensure the shop is visually outstanding at all times
* Manage workflow during peak service
* Monitor stock levels and place orders when required
* Maintain food safety and hygiene compliance
Coffee
* Deliver high quality specialty coffee consistently
* Train team members in coffee technique and speed
* Dial in grinders and manage milk quality
* Maintain coffee equipment standards
Customer Experience
* Lead by example in customer service
* Handle customer concerns professionally
* Maintain strong product knowledge

* Experienced café or bakery manager
* Confident barista with strong coffee skills
* Strong leadership presence
* Organised and proactive
* Calm under pressure
* Passionate about quality and presentation

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $29.48 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
