My client a global leader in the aerospace and defence industry are on the hunt for a Quality Engineer to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities –
In this role you will be responsible for all quality engineering activities in support of the ongoing production programs throughout the business.
Other responsibilities include:
- Develop a solid understanding of specific Quality requirements to ensure that all Customer expectations are met at all times
- Conduct Quality audits in support of the ongoing Quality audit program as required
- Ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation supporting specific products
- Plan, lead and execute Quality investigations as required using RRCA, 8D and other techniques to effectively analyse problem root cause and prevent recurrence.
Experience or Qualifications –
- Sufficient experience within a quality engineering environment specifically Aerospace Quality
- AS9100 Internal Auditing experience
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experince of developing key relationships internally and externally to achieve quality necessary for the customer
