Manager / Senior Manager – Consulting (Data & Digital, Cyber Security, AI)

We're partnering with a growing consulting firm in Canberra that helps Australian government and private sector clients create value and improve the way they work. They are in a growth phase and are looking for two permanent hires: one Manager and one Senior Manager.
Both roles are client-facing, delivery-focused and sit at the heart of complex data, digital and transformation work. You'll lead teams, shape engagements and work directly with senior stakeholders on programs that span data and digital, project and change management, AI and cyber security.
The opportunity
In these roles you will:
* Lead the delivery of consulting engagements or major workstreams end-to-end, ensuring scope, quality, timelines and outcomes are met.
* Shape engagement approaches, delivery structures and governance, translating client objectives into clear, achievable work programs.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and advisor.
* Anticipate and manage delivery risks and issues, applying sound judgement and escalating where required.
* Review and quality‐assure key deliverables so outputs are coherent, evidence-based and "client ready".
* Lead, coach and develop consultants and senior consultants, helping build a high‐performing team and positive culture.
* (Senior Manager) Provide oversight across multiple concurrent engagements and contribute actively to business development and market growth.

About you
You are an experienced consulting professional who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding. You are comfortable operating in complex stakeholder environments and enjoy owning delivery as well as developing people.
We're looking for:
* Strong experience in consulting, advisory, policy, strategy or professional services, with a track record of leading client engagements or significant workstreams.
* Background from a major consulting or professional services firm (Big Four, Accenture, Synergy or similar) is highly regarded.
* Proven delivery leadership – managing teams, priorities and competing demands in complex environments.
* Well-developed stakeholder skills, with confidence engaging senior executives and government stakeholders.
* Experience across one or more of: data and digital, project and change management, AI or cyber security.
* A high level of professionalism, integrity and alignment with modern consulting values and ways of working.
Clearance, location and package
* You must be an Australian citizen with NV1 security clearance for these roles.
* Roles are Canberra-based, with flexible working arrangements where client needs allow.
* Salary will be aligned to level and experience
