RBD Electrical is a State-wide Electrical Contractor specialising in Commercial, HV, and Industrial projects with 90+ employees state-wide. Due to continued growth, we are seeking two motivated full-time Commercial Electricians – one Grade 6, and one Grade 7.
Both electricians will have commercial project experience; the Grade 7 will have experience leading commercial projects as a supervisor/foreman.

You will be supported by Project Managers, Technical, Compliance and safety staff to ensure you can deliver your projects with a focus on safety, compliance and high-quality work. We will work hard to help you succeed in your role.

Grade 7 role will include a company vehicle.
Minimum Requirements:
• Tasmanian electrical practitioners' licence (or ability to transfer an interstate license to Tasmania)
• White Card (Construction induction)
• Current manual driver's licence
• Experienced in planning, supervising, and executing successful commercial electrical projects for construction in a safe, efficient, and co-operative manner.
• Ability to proactively liaise, communicate and co-operate with staff members, customers and third parties
• Acts decisively. Takes a leadership role. Sets behavioural examples for others to follow and challenges unethical behaviours / practices.
• Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness (where necessary) to complete work outside of normal business hours
• Excellent communication skills, effective planning and organizational skills
• Competent with computers and common software applications
• Knowledgeable in all relevant Tasmanian electrical safety legislation
• Sound knowledge in the application and interpretation of relevant Australian Standards, particularly AS/NZS 3000 " The Wiring Rules"
• Current First Aid, CPR & LV Rescue (preferred).
• Additional qualifications and experience would be beneficial, including Structured Cabling, Working At Heights, Confined Space, Asbestos Awareness, etc.
Positions are for an "immediate" start in Derwent Park.
