About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and relationship-focused Key Account Manager to join a global leader in high-quality textile and engineered solutions used across the bedding and sleep-products industry.

This role offers the chance to manage and grow a portfolio of major manufacturing clients, partnering closely with them on product programs, new developments, technical requirements, and long-term commercial plans. Duties

* Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key manufacturing customers, acting as their primary point of contact for all account needs.
* Acquire a thorough understanding of customer product requirements, specifications, timelines, and commercial objectives.
* Promote and propose tailored textile and cover solutions that support customer product innovations and market strategies.
* Secure ongoing business through effective negotiation, renewal discussions, and expansion of existing product programs.
* Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products and services by coordinating with internal design, production, planning, and logistics teams.
* Manage customer issues and complaints with urgency and professionalism, ensuring trust is maintained throughout the partnership lifecycle.
* Prepare regular progress reports, forecasts, and account reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify areas for improvement within accounts and implement strategies to increase revenue and strengthen customer engagement.
* Collaborate with local and global sales teams to identify growth opportunities and support broader commercial priorities.
* Maintain accurate records of customer communications, opportunities, and activities within CRM systems.

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in Account Management or Key Account Management, ideally within a product, manufacturing, or specification-based environment.
* Demonstrated success in growing accounts and delivering solutions based on customer needs.
* Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
* Excellent organisational capability, with the ability to manage multiple projects and customer programs simultaneously.
* Experience negotiating contracts and managing long-term commercial relationships.
* Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong problem-solving ability, commercial acumen, and attention to detail.
* Textile, bedding, or home-product experience is highly advantageous but not essential.
