In this role, you'll assist payroll processing, oversee WorkCover payroll, and contribute to a key data integrity project.
You'll play an important role in ensuring smooth processes and accurate reporting during this exciting period of growth and change.This position is offered as a full-time 12-month contract, or 4 days per week for the right candidate.
If you're a dependable payroll professional who enjoys working in a supportive, collaborative team environment, we'd love to hear from you.Major ResponsibilitiesAssist with end-to-end payroll processing for all employees.Handle WorkCover payroll processing accurately and on time.Assist with a data integrity project to ensure accurate payroll records.Support the Payroll Manager and collaborate with Finance and People & Culture teams.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and employment agreements.Respond to payroll-related queries from staff and managers in a timely and professional manner.Contribute to process improvements and payroll reporting initiatives.Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements5+ years' experience in payroll with proven experience in a similar payroll role.Strong understanding of fairwork compliance, EA interpretation and payroll legislation.Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across different functions.Experience with payroll systems, preferably Micropay.Experience in Mitrefinch our Time and Attendance system, advantageous but not essential.Experience with mapping payroll transactions to a general ledger.Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and accuracy with a high attention to detail.Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.If you are a passionate individual, looking for an opportunity to join our growing and exciting industry, please apply by submitting your Resume and a Cover Letter via the link below.CDC is an equal-opportunity employer committed to attracting and developing adiverseworkforce that reflects the community we serve.
