You will be responsible for promoting a diverse product range and achieving market penetration.Working under the direction of the State Sales Manager you will be given the opportunity to establish and further grow our Ceramic line products across the state.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell Mapei products and their technical advantages to all existing and new clienteleService and support existing customer base and develop new accountsAttend construction site meetings and offer sound technical assistance as requiredPlan and oversee customer product training programsProvide market information on competitors, prices, product availability, brand positioningPrepare project proposals / requirements for customersConduct regular site inspections on commercial projects and follow the project documentation requirements such as site visit reports and providing specificationsProvide accurate project forecasting to the State Sales Manager for planning purposesIncrease Mapei’s footprint with new customers and increased sales within your territoryAbout YouBachelor’s degree or related Trade Certificate highly regardedAt least 5 years’ experience in construction industry relating to waterproofing, and ceramic installation.Minimum 3 years’ experience with commercial sites.At least 3 years’ experience in a sales role highly regarded.Demonstrated experience in development of market penetration and market shareMust be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.Must possess strong organisational and time management skills.Must hold a valid and current motor vehicle driver licenceLanguage & Other SkillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as a team memberAbility to be “hands on” and outcomes-focusedHave a continuous improvement mindsetIntermediate computer skills in MS suiteAble to communicate effectively in Italian, an advantage.About the BenefitsAs a market leader, Mapei Australia understands and recognises the contribution employees make to the success of our business.An attractive remuneration package including a fully maintained vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop will be offered to the successful applicant.As you'll be joining a growing company with substantial expansion plans over the coming years, and a company that has globally been in operation for 85 years, this full-time role offers great job security where you can rest assured that you're joining a highly respected industry leader known for its innovative and environmentally sustainable product lines.Next StepsIf you're a self-motivated salesperson looking to take the next step in your career -
