Role Overview
You will play a key role in helping members improve their financial wellbeing by providing limited scope personal advice.
The Opportunity
As a member of our Superannuation Advice team, you'll be the first point of contact for members seeking personalized financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate and timely limited scope intra-fund personal advice in accordance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
* Participate as required in the provision of limited scope intra-fund advice at Employers within our network.
* Generate referrals and appointments for Hostplus' scaled advisers and financial planners.
* Participate as required in marketing campaigns, promotions and other strategic activities involving the financial planning department.
About You
* To be successful in this position, you must have passed the FASEA exam and have a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning or meet the minimum education and training standards.
* You'll have demonstrated experience in financial planning, paraplanning or a similar client servicing position and a sound working knowledge of superannuation, investment and insurance products and their use in financial advice strategies.
* Practical knowledge of, and experience in using, financial planning software and CRM systems, as well as maintaining detailed client and practitioner notes and records using such systems.
* A sound knowledge of relevant superannuation and taxation legislation, including SIS, SG, FOFA and MySuper regulations.
* A high commitment to delivering quality advice and service while being an active member of a productive team, including the ability to work effectively with diverse people.
* Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* A high level of self-management to manage a busy work schedule, work autonomously and adapt to change.
