About the role
Working closely with a Principal and a high-performing team of approximately five, this is a hands‐on role offering direct exposure to clients, leadership, and advisory work.
Key responsibilities
* Prepare compliance work for a diverse client base (incl Financial statements + Tax returns + BAS and payroll tax)
* Produce management reporting packs
* Assist with advisory work alongside Managers and Directors
* Manage tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A
* Ensure all compliance deadlines are met
* Coach and mentor junior team members, including reviewing their work
About you
* 5+ years' experience in a business services/accounting firm
* CA/CPA qualified or in progress
* Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or similar
* Strong technical knowledge across relevant tax legislation
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior staffProactive, adaptable, and solutions‐focused mindset
* Professional, personable, and down‐to‐earth
* Strong communication skills and a team‐first attitude
