**Your new role**
In your new role, you will be tasked with the development and execution of state sales strategies to achieve long-term market share, sales and profit growth. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The execution of effective sales strategies to increase market share and grow revenue.
- Recruitment, development and management of the state sales team.
- Developing sound dealer relationships.
- Managing the local promotions and ensuring state sales team call cycle targets are met.
- Conducting sales education events each month in both retail outlets and factories.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- 7 years of retail or consumer product sales/ or marketing experience.
- A proven track record of successfully managing a strong sales team.
- Willingness to travel and be on the road for the majority of the day.
- Hands-on approach in tackling all facets of business management with emphasis on sales.
- Track record of longstanding client development.
- The sales of branded, premium or consumer durables is highly regarded.
