What You'll Be Doing
The purpose of the NSLHD Health Contact Centre is to provide a safe, simple, reliable telephone-based 'Single Point of Access' to a range of NSLHD Health services for the community and service providers. You will support:
Community health intake and admission functions for targeted services
Facilitation of timely patient and service information across the care continuum
Reporting of service provider demand against capacity and active management of service wait lists where unavoidable
Management of the at-risk elderly and chronic care register
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidate Criteria
Understanding of the Northern Sydney Local Health District, Acute/Sub-Acute sector, Primary and Community Area and General Practice
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in delivering a customer-focused service with excellent telephone manner
Previous experience working in a challenging and pressured environment with the capacity to take direction and exercise initiative as required
