The Role
The Food Services Attendant works as part of the team and contributes to creating a home for our residents. The role is hands-on and provides individual nutrition and hydration to residents as per the Care Plan. The successful candidate has strong attention to food delivery service and ensures the cleanliness of kitchenettes is maintained. Basic food service skills are highly regarded.
Skills / What We're Looking For
* The ability to work with frail and/or confused residents and their families
* The ability to accept directions and work with minimal supervision
* The ability to liaise with other staff and act as part of a team dedicated to providing quality care
* Demonstrated computer skills
* The ability to effectively use software and systems required for the position
* The ability to work with the 10 Principles of the Eden Alternative philosophy
* A demonstrated commitment to personal development
* A flexible, caring and patient attitude
* A positive and innovative approach to the provision of aged care
* Attention to detail with all tasks
* The ability to work effectively in a culturally sensitive manner within an Ethno-specific environment
Qualifications
* Certificate in Food Handling Level 1
* NDIS Yellow Card + WWCC (Blue Card)

To be considered for this role you must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or permanent resident. The successful applicant must satisfactorily complete all pre-employment checks, including National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Check and influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations.
