This will involve leading DIT's risk and compliance annual program of work, regular reporting and providing ongoing support and guidance to the DIT leadership team to enable the team to deliver services that meet the risk appetite of the organisation and within compliance to all requirements.

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will advise and consult with stakeholders on compliance matters as well as schedule, perform and report on compliance and risk reviews. The position will work closely with other parts of Council to align DIT's risk and compliance outcomes with that of Council's.

About You

Substantial knowledge of legislation governing Local Government operations, highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, strong negotiation and facilitation abilities, and creative problem-solving in complex environments are all key attributes. A strong ethical approach and commitment to maintaining confidentiality are essential.
