- Dorevitch Pathology is a leading provider of pathology and medical diagnostic services to doctors, specialists and hospitals throughout Victoria, as well as commercial and Government organisations in Australia and internationally.
- Based in Ballarat, we are looking to appoint an energetic self-motivated Administration Clerk on a full time basis.**About the role**
- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Communication with medical staff, both onsite and off-site
- This is an exciting opportunity for a person interested in the medical field to further their knowledge assist the community in our Ballarat Laboratory
- Answering enquiries, coordinating courier and medical centre collections, pathology results assistance
- General administration duties
- Maintain customer confidentiality
- Liaise with laboratory staff

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy)- You are passionate person interested in the medical field and participating in the care of patients.
- You display excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work within a team as well as by yourself. You thrive in a busy environment and can work at a fast pace while demonstrating high attention to detail
- Previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong customer focus and general office skills
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
