The opportunity We're seeking an experienced leader to join our Community Projects team on a permanent basis as our 'Community Projects Team Leader'. This role is key in providing leadership, mentorship and coaching to direct reports within the team, as well as contractors undertaking community infrastructure project delivery on behalf of Council. Our Community Projects team are key in delivering major and minor community infrastructure projects for a range of internal clients at Council. Working closely with our Assets team, our role is key in design development, cost estimates, procurement, and contract documentation for major and minor projects within the community space.
* This is a permanent opportunity – working full‐time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
* Base Salary Range: $100,407 to $121,800 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $19,364 motor vehicle allowance + $2,464 retention allowance
* You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

* Proven employee leadership skills including the effective dispute resolution and management of staff
* Demonstrated experience in managing a program of minor and major infrastructure projects
* Degree qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management and/or related disciplines
* Demonstrated project management experience including project reporting, cost control, tendering and contract management
