About the Role
We're seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our safety-focused and high-performing maintenance team on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie. In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance across a fleet of heavy mobile equipment, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime in a mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Work safely at all times and adhere to company policies and site procedures.
* Maintain high-quality maintenance standards across all equipment.
* Diagnose, fault-find, and repair electrical issues on heavy mobile equipment.
* Interpret OEM schematics and technical documentation.
* Maintain accurate work orders, service records, and defect reports.
* Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities.
Equipment & Systems
* Wiring harnesses, sensors, and control systems
* OEM electrical systems (e.g. CAT, Komatsu, XCMG)
* Safety, lighting, and communication systems
About You
* Australian recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification.
* Air Conditioning Ticket (essential).
* Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience on heavy mobile equipment.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
* Current Australian C Class Manual Driver's Licence (HR desirable).
