Started by a 5th generation European Master Baker, we are an artisan bakery that has grown into a successful business producing bread and pastry products, from scratch, using traditional methods.
Noisette Bakery make products of the highest quality and supply wholesale customers across the Melbourne region.
We are now looking for full time/ part time, qualified and experienced Bakers and Pastry Chefs with a passion for artisan baking techniques to join our production facilities in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs. This is an opportunity for qualified bakers and pastry chefs to shine alongside passionate professionals dedicated to their craft.
You will also have the following:
* Availability including late night and early morning shifts
* Ability to work hard with an experienced and fast paced team
* Initiative and be highly self-motivated
* Perform proper and safe operation of bakery equipment and utensils
* Clear understanding of HACCP and OHS/WHS
* Understanding of basic bakery theory and techniques including hand moulding
* Knowledge of natural fermentation and yeasted dough
* Understanding of basic pastry theory and techniques including pastry/almond cream, croissant moulding/shaping
* Passionate about baking
* Ability to work under pressure
* Excellent communication skills
* Punctual and well-presented
