Job Summary
The position will require the candidate to work closely with several key staff to understand existing and new products, draw these in Autodesk Inventor. You will work closely with Global Team to ensure quality and records are well- maintained.
Duties:
· Updating and maintain Autodesk Inventor drawing revisions for existing products in Australia.
· Working closely with sales an R&D Manager to develop new designs for new products. Assist with testing and approval processes in Australia.
· Work with management to assist the implementation of new products into production in Australia.
· Work with trailer parts that will range from: stamping, bending, welding, machining, casting, plastic moulding, forging, etc. Basic knowledge on these processes will be required.
· Review, instigate and liaise with external stakeholders to action warranty claim promptly.
· Take responsibility of opening SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Report) and ensuring they are approved and closed in a timely manner.
· Working with stakeholders to ensure Root Cause analysis are complete and any Corrective Actions are being strictly adhered to.
· Review quality control documents of all items being manufacture/assembled/or shipped to ensure all products being supplied to customers meet the Group’s quality standards.
· Basic Administrative in office responsibilities
· Basic Facility operations and Ad Hoc duties as required.
· Work with Trailer Parts: including knowledge of the following manufacturing processes: stamping, bending, welding, machining, casting, plastic moulding, forging, etc.
· Maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers through the warranty and quality control process.
· Intermediate Computer skills required (emails, Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, Autodesk Inventor, calendar management.
· Additional tasks/duties as assigned.

· Must have knowledge of common engineering terms and principles of manufacturing.
· Previous experience in generating CAD (or other software) drawings.
· Previous experience managing staff is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work and meet deadlines.
· Ability to take initiative, problem solve and be self-sufficient.
· Be willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty when required.
· Valid driver’s license to undertake deliveries if required.
