The role
NRG Services, in partnership with Stellar Recruitment, is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians and Refrigeration Mechanics to join their growing team delivering commercial and industrial projects across South East Queensland. This role offers a mix of service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installation work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial clients. Whether you're an experienced service technician or a refrigeration mechanic looking for long-term stability, you'll be joining a business with a strong reputation, supportive culture and consistent pipeline of work. You'll work alongside experienced supervisors and skilled tradespeople on a range of commercial and industrial HVAC installations, with opportunities for continued development and progression within the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs
- Service and maintenance across a range of commercial and industrial sites
- System upgrades, replacements and minor installation works
- Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and technical documentation
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with Australian Standards
- Maintaining strong client relationships and professional site representation
- Working closely with supervisors and site teams to deliver quality outcomes

What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Experience working on commercial or industrial HVAC projects
- Current QBCC Licence (where applicable)
- Current ARCtick Licence
- Restricted Electrical Licence highly regarded
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
