Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on mobile crushing equipment.
* Support shutdowns, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance activities.
* Assemble components using standard work procedures.
* Operate general hand tools (electric & pneumatic).
* Tackle breakdowns across various sites, diagnosing issues quickly and getting them resolved.
* Carry out preventative maintenance, rebuilds, and troubleshooting on high‐performing equipment.
* Fixed plant maintenance – planned and unplanned, including breakdown repairs.
* Maintenance and repairs on crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, and pumps.
* Carry out maintenance and servicing of automatic sampling systems.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company safety policy.
* Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero‐harm behaviors.
Qualifications
* Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification (essential).
* A current and valid manual Australian driver's licence.
* Experience operating various cranes within manufacturer limits.
* Relevant trade qualification with a minimum of three years' experience.
* High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or trade certification.
* Proven experience as a motor vehicle mechanical fitter or similar.
