Your new role
Our client is seeking a skilled Contract Advisor to monitor, manage, and advise on new and existing contracts to minimise risk and improve contractor performance
* Provide expert guidance and support to Project Managers, including monitoring and advising on KPIs, data quality and timeliness, responding to contract departure/deviations and making recommendations for improvement
* Develop, implement, and maintain contract management procedures and associated compliance frameworks and programs, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
* Maintain register of contracts and liaise with key stakeholders for renewal of contracts and/or to initiate procurement processes
* Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Support the Legal Advisor with drafting transactional documentation and contractual variations, including dispute resolutions
* Ongoing compliance with safety management system and audit programs
* Ensure all corporate documentation is captured in accordance with the organisation's record-keeping policies
What you'll need to succeed
* Must have previous experience as a Contract Administrator within Local Government
* Excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to identify and analyse issues and resolve problems
* Must be currently based in Western Australia
* Ability to provide 2x employment references
* Please note, a National Police Clearance is required for this position.
