About The Role
Lead and manage a claims team to deliver quality, timely settlement outcomes while meeting service, cost, and performance expectations.Oversee claims and settlement performance, including coaching staff, handling complex or escalated matters, and improving cost and quality outcomes.Manage day-to-day operations by allocating work, monitoring performance, maintaining quality standards, and identifying opportunities to improve how the team works.Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, health and safety requirements, and risk management processes, including identifying and escalating issues when required.Work closely with other leaders and stakeholders to support business plans, implement change, and promote a positive, accountable team culture.
About You
Strong operational leader within a similar highly regulated environment and matrixed organization. Experience leading and coaching a skilled team, able to support people perform well and develop their skills.Proven experience identifying gaps in processes able to implement change strategies that translate into business improvement solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, with confidence in using data to identify and understand issues and improve outcomes.Relevant recovery or settlements experience will be ideal. Alternatively, business or industry experience will be preferred. A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
