Pamela Perin on behalf of AMAROO RETREAT AND SPA Position: Chef de partie Name of the company: Dos Tauros Investments Pty Ltd T/A Amaroo Retreat and Spa Annual Salary: $70,****** to $78,****** p/year plus superannuation Type: Permanent, Full Time Amaroo Retreat and Spa in Mount Helena (WA) is looking for a chef de partie for its restaurant.
The Lounge, it is the onsite restaurant & bar at Amaroo Retreat & Spa, an award winning luxury accommodation & day spa venue in the Perth's hills.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the same role and be able to:
Assist the head chef in the smooth running of the kitchen;
Plan menus and estimating food requirements in conjunction with and under the supervision of the head chef
Estimate costs and determine prices of the dishes
Organize and order the required food suppliers as food ingredients
Stock control
Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality of the ingredients supplied
Liaise with suppliers in order to ensure the best quality of the dishes
Maintain stock of all ingredients in regular manner and storing food
Prepare, cook and serve quality dishes in a efficient and consistent manner
Supervise the presentation of the dishes
Enforcing and maintaining hygiene procedures.
Ensure that all ingredients adhere to safety standards.
Ensure that the quality of raw ingredients and cooked food are up to standard
Liaise and respond to the owner
Assist the head chef in train and supervise kitchen staff
