Ashleigh Community is a locally managed, community-based, not-for-profit organisation with over 45 years of experience providing quality aged care services and accommodation to the elderly in our community, based in Sale, Victoria, a thriving regional community. The organisation operates with a Board of Directors and a CEO-led management team (139 staff).
The Opportunity
We are seeking highly motivated Directors to join our team. These roles will be responsible for working with the Ashleigh Community Board of Directors in strategic direction and governance of the organisation, ensuring that it operates in line with our mission and values.
- Fulfil the role of Director
- Assist on selected Subcommittees (Clinical, Risk, Finance and Remuneration, etc.) with meeting goals and objectives
- Attend Board and AGM meetings, with the ability to attend these meetings online or face-to-face
- Assist as the Board reviews the Company’s Financial budgets, business plans, financial performance, commercial and reputational risks
- Work with the Board to adhere to and embrace good governance standards
- Attend ad-hoc meetings and key functions to promote the company as requested
Experience and Competencies
Areas including but not limited to Aged Care standards, Governance, IT Strategy including AI, Business Development, Fundraising, Financial Management, Communications & Marketing.

We are particularly interested in talking to people with experience in Clinical, Medical, Legal, Pharmaceutical or Commercial areas.
Duration of Term
One three-year term with a possibility of extensions.
