Description of Role:
The Compliance Officer - Quality Assurance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that our services meet the highest standards and adhere to all regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this position requires a strong focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.
This role involves providing expert advice and practical support on quality and compliance matters, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety while supporting management teams. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in the aged care sector and have a track record of demonstrating expertise in quality, health, safety, and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities:
* Engage with external bodies to ensure compliance with aged care standards and reforms.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety while supporting management teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess certifications in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Return-to-Work Coordination, understanding and experience of aged care standards and accreditation processes. They will also have strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop effective solutions, excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities to influence stakeholders effectively.
They will be proactive, detail-oriented, and demonstrate strong ethical decision-making skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement in safety and compliance systems.
