Job Overview
We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at News Corp Australia. This is a key role that will provide operational and strategic support to the Client Partnership division.
The primary objectives of this role include driving cost and commercial transformation in client sales areas, ensuring excellence in engagement and deliverables within finance processes such as planning, forecasting, and investment management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Executive Business Partnering: Strategically and operationally partner with the Sales team to drive profitable growth, identify new business opportunities, and implement strategic transformation
* Planning and Forecasting: Prepare the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecasts for the Client Sales division, participating broadly in the financial planning cycle
* Budget Delivery: Inform, influence, and execute strategies within the Client Partnerships division to achieve cost budgets and drive profitable revenue growth
* Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage stakeholders across the sales teams, addressing their needs, issues, and concerns to facilitate key decision-making and drive profitable revenue
* Performance and KPI Reporting: Define and continually evolve KPIs, performance reporting, and margin analysis
* Team Management & Development: Manage, develop, inspire and report on the team's performance
Requirements include:
* Strong Communication Skills: Optimise consumer value for the business through effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
* Commercial Acumen & Professional Accounting Competency
* Excellent Financial Acumen, with experience in revenue and cost management, business case development, financial modelling, and partnering & influencing
