Job Title: Nutrition Consultant
As a skilled and compassionate Nutrition Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert dietetic care to adults in Residential Aged Care facilities and the local community.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and their families. They will also be able to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred nutrition care to all clients, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
* Work closely with residents, their families, and carers to identify and address nutrition-related issues.
* Conduct thorough assessments of nutritional status and develop personalized plans to improve nutrition and hydration systems in residential aged care homes.
* Deliver engaging and informative educational sessions on healthy eating and nutrition.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Education and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or a related field.
* Current registration as a Practitioner with the relevant professional body.
* Australian working rights and eligibility to register with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
