Role Overview
This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, consultation, support, and program advice to enhance teaching, learning, and wellbeing strategies for students requiring assistance.
The successful candidate will be a valuable contributor to the team responsible for providing a flexible service across 4 key areas of critical incidents, acute issues/complex cases, prevention/capability building, and short to medium term intervention.
Key components of this role include highly developed communication skills, report-writing, networking, and interpersonal skills that enable effective liaison with people in the education community and beyond.
A high degree of autonomy and ability to work independently are also essential.
Mandatory Qualifications
* Psychologist: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology; full Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
* Occupational Therapist: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy; registration as an occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Mental health endorsement and/or experience working in youth mental health is desirable.
* Social Worker: A graduate or post-graduate degree in social work or equivalent; eligibility for membership of the Australia Association of Social Workers.
