About the opportunity
This opportunity sits within Steadfast's Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and plays a key role in shaping and supporting enterprise initiatives. The Business Analyst will partner closely with Technology and Business leaders to understand strategic drivers, translate needs into clear requirements, and ensure projects are set up for successful delivery. This role contributes to the EPMO's centre of excellence by applying strong business analysis practices, improving processes, enhancing governance, and delivering high‐quality insights that support decision‐making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with business and technology stakeholders to define, analyse, and document detailed business and technical requirements for enterprise projects.
* Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions to gather insights, drive alignment, and shape high‐quality project inputs.
* Produce business analysis artefacts including user stories, process maps, epics, functional specs, gap analyses, impact assessments, and visually compelling workflows.
* Support project delivery by contributing to testing activities (including UAT), assessing readiness, preparing business documentation, and assisting with training and change adoption.
* Identify and implement process improvements, analysing current‐state operations and recommending enhancements to drive efficiency, clarity, and consistency.
Skills and Qualifications
* Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, enterprise IT functions, systems architecture, integrations, dependencies, and project delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
* Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, document processes, and influence stakeholders across technical and non‐technical environments.
* Skilled in stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and negotiation, with the ability to build trust and drive consensus.
* Experienced in producing BA deliverables (requirements, process maps, user manuals, training materials) and supporting testing and business readiness activities.
* Minimum 5 years' BA experience within insurance, fintech, or financial services, with proficiency in analysis tools, PMO software, and Microsoft applications.
