The service operates over 4 sites within Alfred Health, and continually advocates for postgraduate learning and research interests, with supportive partnerships and expert mentors available to foster staff development.The department also has a leading Digital Health strategy, playing a pivotal role in managing the electronic medication management system within our comprehensive electronic medical record (Cerner), with an advanced level of integration linking this to the Pharmacy Dispensing (iPharmacy) and Automated Medication Storage systems (Omnicell).

There are vast opportunities to engage in Advanced Scopes of Practice, including credentialing programs and leading clinical activities such as Partnered Pharmacist Medicine Charting, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Nicotine Replacement Therapy, and Analgesia de-escalation, among others.
The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist with experience in clinical pharmacy and education to lead the Pharmacy Learning and Development Team in a full-time position, a team with a reputation for innovation and excellence.
We have both a permanent full-time opportunity and a 12 month fixed-term opportunity.As the Lead Pharmacist - Learning and Development, you will lead the development and management of core clinical education activities, including the design and implementation of key programs in our department.
These programs include our intern, undergraduate, residency and advanced residency programs, as well as key clinical pharmacy credentials for extended scope of practice activities and external programs.
You will also be expected and supported to conduct practice-based research projects in clinical pharmacy and clinical education.
Your role will also involve a small clinical load once to twice a week.
