Overview
Cricket Tasmania is the governing body for cricket in Tasmania. We are looking for an experienced Bowling Coach to join our High Performance program, supporting the Head Coach – Female Programs in preparing the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes. The role focuses on shaping and leading the bowling program, ensuring clear performance objectives, and contributing to individual player development across the squad.
Responsibilities
* Lead planning and delivery of bowling strategies, support match preparation, and contribute to technical, tactical, and performance analysis.
* Develop and implement individual bowling plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with support staff to optimise player performance.
* Work closely with the Head Coach – Female Programs and the wider high-performance team to shape program plans.
* Provide expertise and insights on elite cricket performance to support player growth.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in elite or high-performance coaching environments.
* Track record of developing emerging and established players.
* Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
* Ability to contribute to a high-performance environment balanced with accountability, enjoyment, and continuous improvement.
* Team-first mindset, strong organisational skills, and ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Genuine passion for coaching and deep understanding of elite cricket performance.
