ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting GP’s for a telehealth service.
We are working to provide additional access to GP’s for people suffering from COVID, Influenza or respiratory related symptoms.
This is part of a strategic plan and is vitally key in reducing these patients presenting to hospital unnecessarily.
Hours of operation for the service are 8am – 6pm (Eastern Standard Time), Monday to Friday.
Initial training provided on systems and call software.
The assignment is due to start in early July and is for an initial period of 6 months (with possibility of extension).
All equipment required will be provided and sent to you, including software and hardware.
You are expected to have a space to use at home that can be closed off for confidential consultations and a reliable internet service.
You can be based anywhere in Australia.

To be eligible you will hold an MBBS, MD or equivalent qualification and be registered with AHPRA, with no conditions.
It is a requirement that you have 3 years experience as a GP, including a minimum of 1 years Australian practicing experience.
You will be qualified to issue prescriptions and medical certificates.
