About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all clinical activities within the Theatre Complex, which includes five operating theatres, seven recovery bays, and a Central Sterilising Unit. Our diverse surgical case mix includes procedures such as orthopaedics, obstetrics, gynaecology, ENT, oral surgery, urology, paediatrics, general surgery, vascular, spinal, and ophthalmic surgeries.
Key responsibilities include:
* Effective staff allocation and skill-mix to meet patient needs.
* Coordinating clinical activities to maximise efficiency and ensure timely staff meal breaks and reliefs.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency.
* Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in a relevant clinical area or specialty.
* No less than 5 years' experience in Perioperative Nursing.
