Things You’ll Do:
Trainee Educator:
18. Earn an income and receive a FREE industry-recognised qualification (Certificate 3) subsidised by the NSW Government.
19. You may receive additional government support payments of up to $3,750 (in addition to your income).
20. You will be assigned your own mentor (TAFE teacher) who will guide and support you in all areas of your study.
21. Your centre team will help you to learn on the job and develop industry-leading skills.
22. Access to TAFE student services – library, counselling, study/learning support, travel concessions etc.
23. We will provide you with ongoing study time, at an average of 3 hours per week.
24. The traineeship is full time (38 hours per week, 19 day month)19 months duration, with the first month providing you with time to settle in and get to know your colleagues, children and their families.
25. Work as part of a team in a well-resourced Early Education Centre, learning on the job to gain Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education. No need to attend regular TAFE classes! (Study time is allocated per week).
26. Provide children with a warm and nurturing setting to thrive in.
27. Ensure a high quality early education program is implemented.
28. Provide a safe physical environment whilst providing an engaging and meaningful play based program.
29. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a vibrant and cohesive culture.
Package: $42,283 gross p.a. plus superannuation

Diploma Educator:
34. Ensure a quality early education program is implemented for individuals and groups to extend all children's learning whilst in attendance.
35. Provide a physical environment for the children that is safe and secure whilst providing a stimulating play based program.
36. Contribute to the regular documentation of children’s skills, interests and development.
37. Actively observe and help scaffold children’s learning.
38. Engage in professional communication with families and team members.
Package: From $65,460 gross p.a. plus superannuation (Salary paid pro-rated to part time hours worked).
