Procurement Leadership Position
We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our business areas in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationships.
This role involves developing forward procurement plans, providing procurement support, advice, and execution on policy, process, and contract management.
* Servicing key supply markets and providing guidance on procurement strategies and market intelligence.
* Identifying opportunities for whole-of-business/category consolidation, collaboration, and panel agreements, and overseeing the procurement strategy to realize them.
* Conducting tenders, evaluations, extensions, and variations strategy for above-threshold value procurements.
* Providing advice on lower-risk quotes and strategy.
* Managing nominated common-use agreements, panels, strategic contracts, and key corporate agreements.
* Supporting the development of key supplier relationships, contract management, and KPI strategies and outcomes.
* Educating and training business users in procurement processes, probity, and technology.
* Supporting social procurement and sustainability objectives.
* Leading and supporting reporting on procurement and compliance in your area.
For this position, we require at least 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a senior procurement role. A preferred qualification in Procurement, Business, IT, or a related field is also required.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement sourcing projects, including strategy development, tender processes, supplier negotiation, and contract award reporting. Strong internal stakeholder management and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
In addition, experience in contract management, including transition, administration, risk management, and close-out, is highly desirable.
