**About the role**
This full-time position would suit an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner looking for their next step in their career ie case management along with development and implementation of the strategic growth plan and future management of a small team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage you own clinical caseload working within the community to provide quality clinical support.
- Work with the management team on development and implementation of the department strategic and organisational development plan including referral pathways, marketing and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all services comply with NDIS Commission guidelines, particularly around restrictive practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans for participants.
- Assist individuals and families to identify participant needs through assessment and individual planning.
- Write personalised comprehensive and interim behaviour support plans.
- Work in a multi/trans-disciplinary model with a range of allied health professionals to provide a holistic and integrated approach to supports.
- Provide clinical advice and guidance to individuals, families and support staff.
- Plan, delivery and evaluate behaviour supports relating to the individuals’ needs in line with relevant legislative and ethical requirements.
- Plan, implement and review training and support plans for participants, staff and families in positive behaviour support and specialist topics as required.
- Undertake administrative tasks necessary for the role including maintaining appropriate documents and systems to safeguard the wellbeing of participants supported.
**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, or relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Positive Behaviour Support.
- Demonstrated high-level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High level written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment.
- Current NDIS Screening and Working with Children Checks.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
