We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to join our team at a Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
We Have Multiple Positions Available
* 7/7 roster – Day Shift Only
* 4/3 roster – Day Shift Only
These are excellent opportunities for electricians looking for consistent day shift work in a well-established CHPP environment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the CHPP to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Breakdown diagnosis and fault finding
* Preventative and planned maintenance
* Inspection and testing of plant and equipment
* Working with PLCs, motors, drives and control systems
* Ensuring compliance with site safety and statutory requirements
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current Electrical Trade Qualification (QLD Electrical Licence or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a CHPP, mining or heavy industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Experience with conveyors, crushers, pumps and process plant equipment (highly regarded)
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* Current LVR/CPR
* Commitment to safety and teamwork
