Excavator Operator – Civil & Plumbing Excavation

GoTo Plumbing is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our growing team delivering civil and plumbing infrastructure projects across Goulburn and the Southern Tablelands.
We are looking for an operator with experience excavating for underground services, including sewer, stormwater and water. You will work closely with our plumbing crews installing underground infrastructure on residential subdivisions, commercial projects and civil works.
This is a stable, long-term role with consistent local work, modern equipment and a professional team.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating excavators to complete precise excavation work for underground services and civil plumbing installations.
Your work will include:
• Excavation for sewer, stormwater and water services
• Trenching and excavation for underground plumbing infrastructure
• Excavating around live underground services safely
• Site preparation, backfilling and reinstatement
• Assisting plumbing crews with underground installations
• Operating vacuum excavation equipment when required
• Completing daily machine pre-starts and basic maintenance
• Maintaining strong WHS and site safety standards
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in civil or plumbing works Engcon experience preferred
• Experience excavating for underground services and drainage
• Strong understanding of safe excavation around services
• Ability to work accurately around plumbers installing pipework
• White Card
• HR Licence preferred
• Excavator ticket or VOC highly regarded
• Strong work ethic and reliability
