This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader (or an Assistant Manager ready to step up) to manage a team of 10–12 team members, drive performance, and create an engaging, community‐focused store environment.
About the Role As Store Manager
* Lead, mentor and inspire a high‐performing team
* Coach team members to build product knowledge and capability
* Deliver exceptional, customer‐first experiences
* Foster a strong Work Health & Safety culture
* Recruit, onboard and develop high‐calibre team members
* Manage inventory and stock integrity in a large‐format environment
* Stay current with pet care, product and service knowledge
* Create a fun, supportive culture where the team loves coming to work
* Support local marketing initiatives, sponsorships and community engagement
About You, You'll Bring
* Experience in retail store leadership or readiness to take the next step
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
* Strong people leadership and performance management skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
* Solid business acumen and operational discipline
* A flexible and adaptable approach
* Strong interpersonal and relationship‐building skills
* Equine experience (highly desirable)
