Key Responsibilities
* Travel across the region to work with clients in their homes and clinics.
* Collaborate with clients, carers, and families to develop practical solutions promoting independence and safety at home.
* Provide specialist intervention for clients with dysphagia and complex communication disorders.
* Offer expert advice on suitable communication aids and devices.
* Develop tailored care plans to assist consumers remain at home and active in their local community.
* Work with a diverse client base presenting with a range of health conditions.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Applied Science Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification.
* A member of Speech Pathology Australia SPA and participation in the SPA professional self-regulation program.
* Proven experience in delivering Speech Pathology services within home and community-based settings.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the service system and ability to liaise and advocate across health and community care sectors.
* Experience in managing adult clients with dysphagia.
