Senior Manager, Product Risk Data Analytics
What's the role? As a Senior Manager in our Value Chain & Risk Profile team, you'll play a key role in keeping our Mortgages business safe, well‑managed and customer‑focused. You'll use data to spot issues before they become problems, help design smarter automated controls, and make sure the business has the insights it needs to make confident decisions. You'll also support data requests for regulators, contribute to automated control assessments, and guide proactive reporting that helps protect customers from harm. This is a permanent full‑time role based in Sydney with 2-3 days per week in the office. You'll join a collaborative team that's passionate about lifting risk capability and driving meaningful change right across the Mortgages Line of Business.
What you'll do
• Support data requests for regulators and guide proactive reporting to protect customers from harm.
• Contribute to automated control assessments and design smarter controls using data insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure risk data is accurate, timely and actionable to support confident decision‑making.
What do I need?
You'll thrive in this role if you can bring:
* Strong experience in risk management reporting, business intelligence or data risk analytics within banking or financial services.
* Hands‑on skills in SQL, advanced Excel, Alteryx and Tableau.
* Confidence working with large datasets and data warehouses.
* Experience with analytics or automation tools (like Hyper Anna or Blue Prism) and an interest in predictive analytics or automation.
* Experience with incident, issue or control management systems.
