We are looking to appoint a Warehouse and Distribution Manager to join our Wacol team. You will be responsible for a small team of warehouse employees supplying parts and equipment out of a modern clean warehousing environment. Critical to this role is your ability to take a small team of dedicated warehouse employees and through training and ongoing development. Provide direction on day-to-day activities with a priority on increasing customer satisfaction by improving internal warehousing practices.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team to ensure the achievement of key business targets.
- Effective and accurate management of inwards and outwards goods with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Achieve positive customer/stakeholder relationships.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Prior experience in a warehouse/distribution operation in a supervisory/management role
- Experience transforming warehouse efficiency
- Be willing to be hands on and work within the team to learn, review and implement new or revised procedures
- Passionate and focused on workplace health and safety
- Be able to show initiative, solve problems and make decisions.
- Good level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
