The Role
The therapist joining this multidisciplinary team will be responsible for delivering evidence-based services to clients using multiple service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services. Referrals may originate from the NDIS, Medicare, or private sources.
This is a mobile role that offers the flexibility to work from home or the organization's hubs when not seeing clients.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include:
* Assessing and providing interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities.
* Working within the NDIS framework to maximize clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement.
* Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications (in relevant fields).
* Ensuring timely documentation and report writing.
* Managing a varied caseload.
* Meeting professional expectations (e.g., meeting billable targets and effective client management).
* Attending meetings, supervision, and engaging in personal development (as required).
* Building relationships with key stakeholders, including fellow therapists, clients, and referral sources.
* Working across leading software platforms and online tools.
The New Graduate Program

Requirements

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in the related field.
* Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g., AHPRA/SPA).
* Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Police Check and International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas).
* A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
* Car insurance.
* Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
