Project overview: Our client provides services across building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental, etc. You will contribute to the successful delivery of challenging projects with values ranging from $2.5m to $35m+. Types of projects include demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Working on tenders.
- Planning and scheduling of construction activities.
- Management of site project teams.
- Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management.
- Preparation of management reports.
- Resolving site issues in a timely manner.
- Liaising with key clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinating internal and external resources.
- Recruitment and mentoring of teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar.
- 7–15+ years of management experience on demolition projects.
- Project management qualifications will be advantageous.
- Proven understanding of construction with a hands‑on approach.
- Effective lead and delegate abilities.
- Problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Manage client expectations.
- Excellent organisational & time‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Eligibility: Experienced Project Engineer or Project Manager, extensive demolition experience, located in the Hunter Region NSW or willing to work from home (DIDO).
