About the role
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join the team at SAWQUIP in Bendigo, Victoria. As a full-time Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality metal components and products to the highest safety and quality standards.
What you'll be doing:
1. Performing welding operations using various welding techniques and equipment
2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
3. Preparing and positioning metal components for welding
4. Monitoring welding processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to safety protocols
5. Maintaining and troubleshooting welding equipment as required
6. Collaborating with the production team to optimise workflows and identify areas for improvement.
What we're looking for:
1. Demonstrated experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment
2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Good communication and problem-solving skills
