About this Opportunity
* As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering advanced technical and troubleshooting services to clients across the University. You will work closely with colleagues to identify and resolve complex issues, and provide expert guidance on IT systems and software.
* You will use your problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality customer service, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Your excellent communication skills and ability to interpret client needs will be essential in conveying technical information clearly and concisely.
* Key responsibilities include:
o Providing advanced technical support for hardware, software, and audio-visual systems.
o Using modern IT tools and deployment technologies to support Microsoft, Apple, and AV platforms.
o Delivering high-quality customer service by applying best practices and maintaining accurate service records.
About You
* You have proven experience supporting and managing Windows, Linux, macOS, or enterprise-grade audio-visual systems using appropriate management tools.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Mobile Device Management solutions, or equivalent AV systems in a tertiary setting.
* Skilled in delivering both remote and on-site technical support, including for mobile technologies.
* Solid understanding of IT and data security principles and practices.
* Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interpret client needs and clearly convey technical information.
