As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy and leading our teams to achieve ambitious customer acquisition targets. This is a newly created role within the organisation, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and champion sales at Mable. This position holds overall responsibility for the direction, strategic development, performance and maintenance of the activities of the sales teams for Mable and its group of companies. Key Accountabilities Strategic Vision Develops and communicates a clear, inspiring vision for the sales team aligned with overall business goals. Translates strategic vision into actionable plans and objectives. Sets specific objectives, identifying target markets, and allocating resources effectively. Decision Making Makes informed, timely decisions based on a combination of data, experience, and intuition, considering the sector and with the customer experience front of mind. Takes accountability for decisions and learns from outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed. Driving Performance Sets challenging yet achievable goals aligned with organisational objectives. Ensures goals are communicated clearly and understood by the entire team. Takes proactive steps to address performance gaps and optimise results. Provides effective coaching and constructive feedback to enhance the skills and performance of team members. Takes a customer centric approach where a strong emphasis was placed on understanding customer needs to achieve outcomes. Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the sectors we operate in. Communication and Collaboration Effectively communicates sales strategies, goals, and updates to internal stakeholders. Collaborating closely with our service teams to ensure that we are exceeding the expectations of our customers. Facilitates open and transparent communication within the team and across departments. Promotes a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages knowledge-sharing and mutual support. Actively seeks opportunities for cross-functional collaboration to achieve broader organisational goals. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles preferably in the B2C space. Proven ability to manage high-performing teams and drive significant business growth. Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and partnership management. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with broader business objectives and contribute to organisational success. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes, leveraging data for strategic planning and driving business growth.
